What we're building
Most business software is either a bloated suite you fight with or a single-purpose tool that leaves gaps. Papertools is the middle: the everyday paperwork of running a business — quotes, invoices, bills, expenses, payroll, and the records behind them — done well, in one place, without the clutter.
Who it's for
Freelancers, owner-operators, and small teams who’d rather spend their time on the work than on the admin. If you send invoices, pay people, and need clean records at the end of the year, it’s for you.
How we think about it
Plain beats clever. The output should look professional to your customers, the workflow should be obvious to you, and the app shouldn’t ask for attention it hasn’t earned. We’d rather do a smaller set of things properly than a long feature list poorly.
