Choose your document layout

Your documents can look the way you want. Papertools gives you four layouts, and each one carries your brand color and logo automatically.

Choose a layout

1. Open Settings → Documents.
2. Under Layouts, pick one — each card shows a live preview in your own brand color:
   • Editorial — clean and modern, matching the app's own look.
   • Modern — an accent stripe across the top and your brand color on the total. The default.
   • Classic — formal and traditional, with heavier dividers and an accent rule under the header.
   • Compact — dense and efficient, fitting more on every page.

Your choice applies to every document type at once — invoices, estimates, bills, and receipts all match — and it saves the moment you pick.

Your color and logo

These live under Settings → Branding, not here. Set them once and they flow into whichever layout you've chosen — which is why the layout previews already show your real brand color.

Changes apply to the next document you generate — nothing to rebuild. (See Add your logo and branding.)
