Export your data

Download a complete copy of your workspace — every record, as CSVs — whenever you want.

Account & workspace

Your data is yours, and you can take a complete copy with you any time. Papertools packages your whole workspace as a set of CSV files you can open anywhere.

Request an export

  1. Open Settings → Danger and find Export data.
  2. Choose Export.
  3. The file builds in the background — no need to wait around. We'll notify you the moment it's ready.
  4. Download the ZIP and open it wherever you like.

Inside you'll find every record — customers, vendors, invoices, estimates, bills, expenses, payments, and the rest — each as its own CSV.

Good to know

  • Exporting is owner-only, since it covers the entire workspace.
  • Open the CSVs in Excel or Google Sheets, or hand the whole archive to your accountant.
  • There's no lock-in and nothing to request from support — just download a copy whenever you want one.
