A hundred small things

Not every improvement deserves its own announcement. These deserved one together.

• Settings you can actually read — the whole settings area was redesigned: clean section bands, forms that sleep until you tap the pencil, and a small (?) beside nearly every title and field that explains it in plain words. The help is there when you want it, invisible when you don't.
• A reference field on your documents — invoices, bills, sales and expenses now carry your customer's PO number or your own filing reference, right beside the subject, printed where it belongs.
• Buying-only items — some things you purchase but never sell. The catalog now knows the difference: buying-only items wear their badge, skip the sale price, and keep their full purchase history.
• Expense tax, minus the arithmetic — one amount, one question: no tax, added on top, or included in the amount? Type what the receipt says; Papertools derives the split.
• Better on phones, everywhere — report tabs swipe, wide tables slide sideways instead of squashing, pickers fold into dropdowns, and popups follow one consistent grammar: taps from the bottom, typing from the top.
• Who is this, exactly? — every door that creates a customer or vendor now asks whether it's a person or a business, so names stop pretending to be companies and your records stay honest from the first field.
• One scrollbar to rule them all — every scrollbar in the app now uses the same quiet design. You'd never have asked for it. You'll never notice it again. That's the point.
• Plainer words throughout — placeholder examples stopped assuming which country you bank in, tooltips were re-read through a regular person's eyes, and a dozen pieces of jargon quietly left the building.

None of these change how you work. All of them change how it feels.
