Papertools can now be talked to. Tap the Paper-Ai button in the corner — or the mic — and say what you need:
"Invoice for Ali Hardware — ten folding chairs, due Friday."
A real draft appears, built only from your workspace — your customers, your catalog, your tax rates. Nothing invented, nothing saved until you press the button.
It drafts, you decide
Invoices, estimates, bills, expenses, cash sales, credit notes, payments in and out — and your records too: customers, vendors, staff, products, services, every field on the form. If the form is already open, Paper-Ai co-writes it: say "make that fifteen chairs" and watch the line change on the page in front of you. Saving is still the form's own Save button — Paper-Ai just presses nothing without you.
It answers from your real books
"Who owes us money?" "How's profit this year?" "What did we sell in June?" "How many invoices are unpaid?" — every figure is computed by Papertools from your actual books, never guessed. Ask about any timeframe you can say out loud: this month, last quarter, June to August, the past 3 days.
It walks your reports with you
On any report page, ask "what am I looking at here?" and you'll get a plain-words reading lesson anchored by your own numbers. Ask for a comparison, a different period, or the export — the answer arrives with the buttons that do it.
It opens the right doors
Say "send this invoice" or "mark it accepted" and Paper-Ai offers the page's own buttons — the same confirmation popups you'd get by clicking yourself. It only ever offers what the page in front of you actually has. The page is the authority; Paper-Ai is the co-worker.
The rules it lives by
- It never saves anything itself — a human always reviews and presses Save.
- It picks only from your workspace's own lists — a name it can't find stays blank, with a note saying so.
- It answers nothing off-topic — it works for your books, not the internet.
- The workspace owner can switch it off for everyone in Settings → Features.
Every plan gets it — each with its own monthly command allowance, free tier included. The meter lives right in the chat.
